I am shocked she was found not guilty. However, we have to respect the jury's verdict. They were there for the entire trial and listened to the evidence - not the talking heads opinion of the evidence. That is the reason we have jury trials in this country. However, she was convicted of four counts of lying to the police and each count carries a maximum of one year jail. My guess is that the judge will give her 4 years jail, with credit for the time she has served since her arrest.
Sorry John, but on this one I just don't agree. There is no way in heaven, hell or earth you can tell me that not 1 or any of the 12 jurors did not ever hear anything about this case...especially in Florida. I can understand the not guilty on murder but for child abuse.....sorry but there is just no way. Your child is missing for over a month and you do nothing about it....sorry but that has child abuse, neglect written all over it. And even though she may have been found innocent in the courtroom, she most certainly is not innocent with the people. She will pay for Caylee for the rest of her life in the way she will be treated by humanity and I can almost say with certainty it will not be nice. Hope you are doing well.....
